How to print LPNs to prepare for building LPNs for freight shipments.
This guidance only applies if Scalable Fulfillment Solution (SFS) functionality has been enabled for your reservation(s). For more information about SFS, reach out to your Flexe Logistics Analyst.
After goods have been picked to Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and dropped off at a staging location, you will need to convert them into standard LPNs that can be used for outbound trailer loading.
Make sure to have Flexe LPNs printed and ready, as a first step. LPNs can be printed from the details page for any freight shipment, when the shipment is in any status (Not Started, In Process, etc).
Note: LPNs are not linked to a shipment until scanned during the LPN building process. Any LPNs not used for a shipment can be saved to use on other shipments; you can also print additional LPNs at any time.
To print LPNs labels in Flexe:
1. Select Shipments from the left menu.
2. Select the shipment you want to build LPNs for.
You can use the Filter by dropdown to search for a specific shipment. Then, select the shipment ID next to the shipment to open the shipment details page.
3. Select Print LPN Labels.
On the details page, go to the Documents section and select Print LPN Labels.
4. Print the labels.
When prompted, enter the number of labels needed, then select Generate LPN Labels.
A PDF document with the labels will open in a new tab. Use the Print option (in the top menu or your browser menu) to print the labels.
You are now ready to build LPNs with the new LPNs printed. Proceed to Building Carton LPNs or Building Pallet LPNs.
