How to prepare for receiving LPN inbounds.
| IN THIS TOPIC |
Receiving starts on the Flexe web platform, where you can print LPN labels and receiving lists, and upload delivery documents.
Printing LPN Labels
To prepare to receive inbound LPNs, you'll first need to print LPN labels.
Note: If you're receiving inbounds with pre-labeled LPNs, items on the delivery will arrive with LPN labels already applied, so can skip this part of the process.
To print LPN labels:
1. Sign in to Flexe, and open Inbound Deliveries from the left menu.
2. Select Print LPN Labels.
3. Enter the number of labels you need, then select Generate LPN Labels.
You can print up to 5,000 labels at once (anything beyond that can cause loading and printer issues).
Keep in mind that LPN labels don't expire--you can print them in bulk and then set them aside for future inbounds. LPN labels aren't associated with inventory until scanned on a Flexe mobile device during the mobile receiving process.
Printing & Uploading Inbound Documents
To start the receiving process in Flexe:
1. Select Inbound Deliveries from the left menu and open the Arrived tab.
2. Select the delivery you want to receive.
3. Print the receiving list.
Select Print Receiving List to access a scannable receiving list with everything expected in the delivery, including SKUs, quantities and other important inventory information.
The list will open in a new tab, as a PDF file that you can print as needed.
Note: You can scan the barcode at the top of the receiving list to access the inbound on a Flexe mobile device.
4. Upload the Bill of Lading (BOL).
Go to the Documents section and select Upload Document to upload the BOL for the delivery.
Choose the BOL file from where it's saved on your computer, and make sure the Document Type is set to "Bill Of Lading." Then, select Upload Document.
Note: If you don't have the BOL, you can upload the document associated with the delivery. You can also upload a BOL at the end of the receiving process, before you finalize the delivery.
Once you've prepared all labels and documents needed for receiving, you're ready to proceed with physically receiving the delivery via Flexe mobile device. To learn more, go to Receiving LPNs.
