How to view inbound deliveries on the Flexe web platform.
| IN THIS TOPIC |
The Inbound Deliveries feature in Flexe helps you access and manage everything associated with the receiving process, including:
- Confirming new inbounds to schedule the delivery time
- Verifying when deliveries have arrived to your warehouse
- Tracking and reviewing receiving progress on Flexe mobile devices
- Completing and finalizing deliveries
You can access information about inbound deliveries in Flexe from your Dashboard and from the Inbound Deliveries page.
Dashboard
When you log in to Flexe, your Dashboard is the first thing that shows on-screen. You can also open this view by selecting Dashboard from the left menu.
Your dashboard includes a snapshot of recent inbound and outbound activity at your warehouse. Go to the Inbound Deliveries section to quickly view new and in progress deliveries. To view additional details, select a specific delivery.
Inbound Deliveries Page
Select Inbound Deliveries from the left menu to access the Inbound Deliveries page. This is where you can access and manage all inbound activity.
Note: If your warehouse has multiple facilities within the Flexe network, open the dropdown menu at the top of the page to switch between them.
Delivery Statuses
The tabs across the top of the page correspond to each of the delivery statuses that make up the inbound workflow.
Select a tab to view deliveries by status:
|
New New deliveries created by the shipper.
|
Use this tab to find and review new deliveries. Then, confirm that you can receive the delivery and schedule the delivery appointment/time. |
|
Confirmed Deliveries you’ve confirmed and scheduled. |
Use this tab to find scheduled deliveries. You can then confirm arrival, once the delivery gets to your warehouse. Note: Whenever you navigate to the Inbound Deliveries page, it opens to this tab by default. |
|
Arrived Deliveries that have arrived at your warehouse. |
Use this tab to find deliveries that have arrived, but have not yet been received on a mobile device. Open deliveries from this tab to prep for the receiving process by generating LPNs, printing receiving lists and uploading the BOL. |
|
Receiving Deliveries currently being received into inventory on mobile devices. |
Use this tab to review and track deliveries during the receiving process on Flexe mobile devices. After everything is received, you can complete and finalize the delivery. |
|
Altered Deliveries that have been edited or adjusted by the shipper. |
If a shipper updates or adjusts a delivery after it’s been confirmed, it automatically moves to this tab, so you can review the changes. You’ll need to confirm the delivery again, to move it back to the Confirmed tab. |
|
Completed Deliveries that have been received and finalized. |
Use this tab to finalize deliveries that have been received and completed. |
Filters
Use the filters and text boxes at the top of the page to find inbound deliveries by specific properties:
- Delivery ID - Filter by the unique number assigned to each inbound delivery in Flexe
- Estimated Delivery - Filter by the estimated date the delivery should arrive
- Details - Filter by the internal ID assigned to the delivery by the shipper
- Items (SKUs) - Filter by specific SKUs included in the delivery
- UPC - Filter by the UPCs associated with items in the delivery
- Qty - Filter by the estimated number of pallets needed for the delivery
- Reservation - Filter deliveries by reservation.
Note: The Type filter shows the inbound workflow for the delivery. The container icon refers to standard containers; while the pallet
icon refers to the full pallets workflow. If your reservation still uses the full pallets workflow, you can use this filter option to sort deliveries by type.
Delivery Details
Select a delivery to open the delivery details. At the top of the page, there are several fields with shipper-generated information, including the Delivery ID and Trailer Number.
Make sure to review this section ahead of the delivery date for any relevant information.
About LPNs
The License Plate Number (LPN) system at Flexe features 12-digit labels with unique identifiers designed to capture several different inventory properties at once, including:
- Inbound shipment ID
- Expiration dates/code dates
- SKUs
- Carton Quantity
- Serial numbers
- Lot code
You'll assign LPN labels to specific items or pallets during the receiving process on Flexe mobile devices. This helps you track inventory and supported inventory properties all at once, as items or pallets move through the warehouse.
