About Edit LPN

Edit LPN allows you to move any quantity of SKUs from one LPN to another. It can be used to fix incorrect quantities on LPNs or to separate damaged items from an LPN for quarantine.

Standard options for Edit LPN are:

• Moving SKUs from one LPN to another existing LPN.
• Moving SKUs from one LPN to a new LPN you create during editing.

Restrictions on Edit LPN are:

• If moving SKUs from one LPN on an outbound shipment to another, the other LPN must be on the same shipment. 
• You cannot edit an LPN in a Lost or Virtual location (such as mobile devices during a move).

Editing LPNs Created with Build LPN

If using Build LPN you can also use Edit LPN to:

• Move SKUs from one carton LPN to another carton LPN on the same shipment.
• Move SKUs from one pallet LPN to another pallet LPN.
• Move SKUs from one nested carton to another nested carton.
• Move nested carton LPNs from one parent pallet LPN to another, new or existing.

If edit LPN is used to create a new LPN, the new LPN will:

• Automatically be associated with the same shipment as the source LPN.
• Be the same type as the source LPN (Carton or Pallet).
• If created from a nested carton LPN, a new carton LPN will not be nested, but be in the same location as the source LPN.
