How to review Inventory History on the Locations Page.
| IN THIS TOPIC |
Each Location Details Page includes an Inventory History section you can use to track and review all items that have been moved in and out of the location.
Reviewing Inventory History within Locations
To review inventory history in Flexe:
1. Select Locations from the left menu, then select the location you want to review.
2. Go to the Inventory History section, and add filters as needed.
Go to the bottom of the location details page to find the Inventory History section. From here, you can select New Filter to apply the filters to review specific types of information, as needed.
Here's a quick overview of filter options:
- LPN Barcode (exact match) - Use to find movement for specific LPNs
- SKU (partial match) - Use to find movement for specific SKUs; you'll only need to enter part of the SKU number to view results
- Batch ID - Use to review pick details, specifically Fulfillment/eCommerce and Distribution/Retail batches.
- Shipment ID or PO - Use to find specific outbound shipments by Flexe ID or shipper purchase order (PO) number
- Inbounds Only - Use to review only inbound shipments
- Outbounds Only - Use to review only outbound shipments
- Adjustments Only - Use to review only inventory adjustments completed via cycle counts at the location
- Moves Only - Use to review only goods moved to and from locations (this excludes receiving and outbound activity)
- Moves Before - Use to review all activity prior to a specific date.
- Moves After - Use to review all activity after a specific date.
- Moves By (partial match) - Use to review activity for a specific mobile user.
Note: The Inventory History section only shows data from the previous week (7 days) by default. If you need to review data from a different timeframe, use the Moves Before and/or Moves After filters.
3. Select a SKU, LPN, Location Name or Move Reason for additional details.
Information recorded in the Inventory History section includes the SKU, origin and destination location as well as a move timestamp.
You can select a specific SKU, LPN, location name and/or move reason for more details. Each link takes you to a corresponding details page.
4. Download results, as needed.
You can download details from the Inventory History by selecting Download All Matching Results.
The system then generates a report of the information in a CSV file. Any filters you've added are automatically applied to the file.
Move Reasons
Move Reason refers to the action that caused a change in item quantity at the location. The Move Reason column in the Inventory History shows the type of action as well as the corresponding ID for the associated movement.
Here's a breakdown of the different types of actions that are tracked:
-
- Container Dropoff- Receiving goods (via LPN or not).
- Movement - Moves on a mobile device, most likely putaway.
- Fulfillment Batch - Goods being picked.
- eComm Shipment - Fulfillment/eCommerce shipments completed out of this location.
- Retail Order - Distribution/Retail orders completed out of this location.
- Cycle Count - Inventory that was adjusted through a cycle count.
- Flexe Admin Adjustment - Inventory that was adjusted by Flexe.
