How to navigate the locations page for your warehouse in Flexe.
| IN THIS TOPIC |
Locations are designated areas in the warehouse where product is stored until it is ready to be shipped, or held temporarily as it passes through inbound and outbound processes.
You can view and manage locations for your warehouse from the Locations page in Flexe.
Note: To learn more about creating new locations, go to Creating Locations.
Navigating the Locations Page
Select Locations from the left menu to open the page. From here you can view all locations at your warehouse and make changes to them as needed.
Using Filters
You can use the filters at the top of the page to find specific locations or location attributes. Filters can also help you track different types of inventory information by location.
Select +New Filter, then select the filter(s) you want to use from available options:

- Location Status - View locations in a specific status (active, locked, inactive).
- Location Category - View locations by category (floor storage, quality audit, inbound staging, outbound staging, pack, etc.)
- SKU - View all locations that contain a specific SKU.
- Reservation - View all locations in use for a specific reservation.
- LPN Barcode - Find floor locations that contain a specific LPN.
- Contains LPNs - View all locations that contain LPNs.
- Contains No Inventory - View all empty locations.
- Primary Pick Location - Find all locations designated as primary pick locations.
- Allocatable - Find locations that can store items available to ship for outbound. shipments/orders; this includes locations with active status and an allocatable location category (floor, bin, rack, etc.)
- Lot Code - Find locations that contain inventory with a specific lot code.
- Put Away Zone - Find locations associated with a specific put away zone. This will only appear if put away zones are enabled for your reservation. To learn more, reach out to your Flexe Logistics Analyst.
- Serial Number - Find the location of goods belonging to a specific serial number.
To apply the filter(s) you want to use, and select the "checkmark" icon. The page will then refresh to show locations from your selected filters.
Downloading Location Inventory
You can export inventory data from the Locations page by selecting Download Location Inventory CSV in the top right. The data will then download through your browser in CSV file.
You can also export location configuration information by selecting the Download Location Master CSV option at the top of the page.
This is useful for updating locations in bulk. It provides a snapshot of locations marked as primary pick or reserve, as well as the sequence ID.
Note: Location Master CSV data does not include virtual or transitional locations. You'll get a warning message about this when hovering over Download Location Master CSV.
