How to troubleshoot common issues with picking and completing shipments for LPNs.

If you get an error message during the outbound process for LPNs, here are some troubleshooting steps and solutions to try:
Note: This guidance is specific to reservations that use Flexe's LPN system. If your reservation does not use LPNs, go to Issues with Picking & Completing Shipments.

LPNs Are Not at the Staging Location“These LPNs have been picked, but are not at the staging location . . . .” |
This error occurs if LPNs have not yet been dropped off or moved to the staging location for a shipment. The message shows you that staging location, as well as the LPN(s) that need to be moved there before you can complete the shipment. Use the Move Items function on a Flexe mobile device to move the LPN(s) to the staging location shown in the message. |
LPNs Don’t Belong On This Shipment“These LPNs are in [LOCATION] but don’t belong on this shipment . . . .” |
This error occurs if you’ve removed one or more LPNs, but have not moved them out of the staging location for a shipment. The message shows you the staging location, as well as the LPN(s) that need to be moved from there before you can complete the shipment. Use the Move Items function on a Flexe mobile device to move the LPN(s) to another location. |
Overage Error“You must be equal to or under the expected units for each SKU to complete this shipment . . . . “ |
This occurs after you select Ship to complete a shipment. If the amount of items picked is over the expected amount for the shipment, you’ll see a warning message showing the SKU(s) impacted and the amount of the overage. To complete the shipment, you'll need to remove LPNs associated until the quantity for the impacted SKU(s) is less than or equal to the expected amount. To remove LPN(s):
Note: Repeat these step as needed for other LPNs, until the quantity for the SKU is less than or equal to the expected amount for the shipment. Once you've finished removing LPNs as needed, select Ship again. You should then be able to select Complete Shipment. To learn more, go to Removing LPNs. |
Removed wrong LPN from shipment |
If you removed the wrong LPN from a shipment and need to re-add it, reach out to your Flexe Logistics Analyst for additional help.

Wrong SKU"Wrong SKU" |
This occurs after you scan a SKU barcode for picking. It indicates that you have scanned the wrong SKU. Check that the SKU requested on the device matches the SKU you are scanning. If the you are scanning the correct item, check that the barcode and SKU name on the item match the information in the Item Master. If the information matches, but you still receive this error message, reach out to your Flexe Logistics Analyst or contact us at support@flexe.com.

Unrecognized Barcode"Unrecognized Barcode" |
This occurs after you scan a SKU barcode for picking. It indicates that you have scanned the wrong SKU. Check that the SKU requested on the device matches the SKU you are scanning. Check for any barcode damage and that the barcode and SKU name on the item match the information in the Item Master. If the information matches, but you still receive this error message, reach out to your Flexe Logistics Analyst or contact us at support@flexe.com. Note: If the same barcode is used for two different items this error will occur, as two items cannot have the same barcode in an omnichannel workflow. |
Unpickable Location"Unpickable Location" |
This occurs when a different location than the one requested is scanned. Confirm you are at the right location and retry, or proceed to the correct location. If the information matches, but you still receive this error message, reach out to support@flexe.com. |
Staging Location Issue“A problem occurred...Staging Location Unavailable. Shipment # already assigned to this location are not allowed to be mixed with this shipment." |
This occurs if you attempt to drop items picked for a shipment into an Outbound Staging Location that already has shipments assigned to it. Shipments with different destination IDs cannot be added to the same Outbound Location. Use an alternate location if possible and check if shipments previously dropped into the Outbound Location need to be completed in Flexe. |
