How to remove or replace picked LPNs on an open shipment.

You can remove or replace picked LPNs on an open shipment, as needed.
Before you start
Make sure the LPN that you want to remove or replace was dropped off at the staging location for the shipment during the picking process. To review these steps, go to Picking & Completing Shipments for LPNs.
Note: If you still need to move the LPN to the staging location for the shipment, use the Move Items function on a Flexe mobile device.
Removing LPNs
To remove an LPN from a shipment:
1. Open the shipment details on the Flexe web platform.
2. Go to the Contents section and select the LPNs tab.
Note: If you still need to confirm whether the LPN has already been moved to the staging location for the shipment, select the LPN number to open the LPN Detail page. Then, scroll down to the Inventory History section and check for recent location movement under the Destination Loc column.
3. Select Remove LPN from Shipment.
Open the menu (three vertical dots) next to that LPN you want to remove and select Remove LPN from Shipment.
Once you select Remove LPN, a confirmation window opens onscreen.
It shows the LPN you’re removing, as well as the staging location for the shipment. It also explains that before you can complete the shipment, you’ll need to move the LPN out of that staging location. You can move the LPN on a Flexe mobile device.
Select Remove LPN again to confirm.
4. Move the LPN out of the staging location on a Flexe mobile device.
Select Move Items from the home screen.
Scan the LPN you’re removing, then select Put Away. Scan the new location, then scan the LPN again to complete the move.
You can now return to the Flexe web platform to complete the shipment, if all LPNs needed for the shipment are correctly picked and staged. To learn more, go to Picking & Completing Shipments for LPNs.
Replacing LPNs
You can replace an LPN on an open shipment with a different LPN with the exact same SKU(s).
To replace an LPN:
1. Open the shipment details on the Flexe web platform.
2. Go to the Contents section and select the LPNs tab.
3. Select Replace LPN.
Open the menu (three vertical dots) next to that LPN you want to replace and select Replace LPN.
Once you select Replace LPN, a confirmation window opens onscreen. It shows you the LPN you’ll be replacing and the corresponding SKU. Copy or take note of the SKU here–you’ll need it to find alternate LPNs with the same SKU from the Locations page.
4. Open the Locations page in a new tab.
Find Locations in the left menu, then right-click and select the option to open it in a new tab.
5. Select New Filter, then choose the SKU option and enter the copied SKU(s).
First, select New Filter:
Next, use the dropdown menu to select SKU from the list of filter options. Enter the SKU you copied from the shipment details, then select the “checkmark” icon to apply the filter.
6. Choose an alternate LPN, and copy the LPN number.
Once you apply a SKU filter, the Locations page will update to show you all locations where that SKU is stored, with associated LPNs listed in the LPN column.
Check the Category column to look for alternate LPNs in an active storage location–Rack, Floor, etc. Also keep in mind that the replacement LPN cannot be allocated to an open shipment, so make sure to avoid anything currently in outbound or transitional locations.
Note: Storage locations often contain multiple LPNs, so you may need to select Show [Number] Items, to view everything currently there.
Once you’ve found a replacement LPN, copy the LPN number, so you can enter it back on the shipment details page.
7. Return to the shipment details, and enter the replacement LPN.
Go back to the shipment details (in your original tab), and enter the new LPN in the text box.
The system will confirm whether the LPN has the correct SKUs, and that it isn’t already allocated to another shipment. Once the new LPN is confirmed, you can select Replace LPN at the bottom of the window.
The LPN for the SKU will automatically update in the shipment details. But before you can complete the shipment, you’ll need to move the original LPN out of that staging location. You can move the LPN on a Flexe mobile device.
8. Move the original LPN out of the staging location on a Flexe mobile device.
Select Move Items from the home screen.
Scan the original LPN, then select Put Away. Next, scan the new location, then scan the LPN again to complete the move.
