Guidance and troubleshooting for common issues with inbound deliveries.
| IN THIS TOPIC |
Use this guidance to help with common issues or adjustments you may need to make when handling inbound deliveries.
General Inventory Discrepancies
When completing the receiving process, if there is an inventory variance greater than 10%, contact us at support@flexe.com so that we can approve it. Otherwise, the inventory will not show as available anywhere to anyone.
Add a Different SKU
If you received a SKU not on your receiving list, you can add it to the delivery.
To add a different SKU:
1. Go to Inbound Deliveries, and open the Confirmed tab to find the delivery.
2. Open the inbound delivery, then select + Add another SKU.
Go to the Enter SKU Quantities section and select + Add another SKU. The button will look inactive ("greyed out") initially:
3. Enter the SKU.
Use the text box to enter or find the SKU you want to add to the inbound delivery:
Note: If you don't know the SKU, try entering available information about the item received--it should come up in the text box from details saved in the Item Master. If not, contact us for more help at support@flexe.com.
Select a Different Inbound Staging Location
If you need to change the inbound staging location for the delivery, use the dropdown menu under Choose Staging Location:
The selections available in the dropdown will only include locations designated in the the "Inbound Staging" category for your warehouse.
To learn more about managing locations, go to Creating and Managing Locations.
Reprint Pallet Labels for Container Deliveries
If there's an issue or discrepancy with the number of labels you need for the delivery, go to Print Pallet Content Labels and enter the correct amount of labels needed for all received pallets. Then, select Print again to print the corrected amount of labels:
Note: If the “# of Shippable Pallets” is incorrect, contact us at support@flexe.com for additional help.
Pallet Has Wrong SKU
If the inventory physically stored on the pallet does not match the SKU/Item Code entered on the pallet label, you can correct this in the Inbound Delivery details.
To fix this issue:
1. Find the impacted pallet, then select AS NEEDED: If Pallet Has Wrong SKU under Actions.
2. Enter the correct SKU.
Follow the on-screen instructions to select the correct inventory for the pallet:
After you select Change Pallet SKU/Item Code to complete the change, the owner of the goods will be notified and asked to confirm.
3. Select Reprint Label.
To get a pallet label with the correct SKU, select the Altered Pallets tab and click Reprint Label under Actions:
