How to view and manage user roles for the Flexe platform and Flexe mobile devices.

The User Management page in Flexe lists all users associated with your warehouse(s), both active and inactive, so you can make changes to user roles and access as needed.
Before you start
You need the Admin or User Management role to access the User Management page. To learn more, review the About User Roles section of the User Setup guide
To get started, hover over your username (at the top of the left menu) to open the Settings dropdown. Then, select User Management.
Managing User Roles
Go to the Warehouse Users section on the User Management page to make changes to the role(s) assigned to each active user, as needed.
Note: It's a best practice to avoid removing user roles during working hours, to prevent any impact this might cause to warehouse operations.
Use the checkboxes for each role to make changes. To add a role, select the checkbox in the corresponding column. To remove a role, de-select the checkbox. Keep in mind that the User Management role can only be changed by an Admin.
There is no limit to how many users can be assigned to each role, or how many roles each individual user can have. There may also be overlap between roles.

Deactivating Users
If users leave the company, it is strongly recommended to deactivate their usernames immediately. These users may continue to access Flexe until deactivated, and could interfere with system activity--particularly users with Manager or Operations roles that can influence transactions and data in the system.
Note: The deactivate option on the User Management page is not available for Admin users. Users designated as Admins have (admin) next to their name. If you need help removing system access for an Admin user, contact us at support@flexe.com.
To deactivate users in Flexe:
1. Find the user you need to deactivate from the User Management page.
Go to the Active Users section, where you can review all active users listed by name and email address. Then, find the user you need to deactivate.
2. Select Deactivate User.
Look for the Actions column next to the user's name, then select Deactivate User.
Note: If you have the User Management role, you'll only be able to access the Deactivate User option if you've been assigned the User Management role across all active reservations. Otherwise, the option will not be enabled; and you'll need to reach out to an Admin to proceed. The Admin can complete the deactivation process, or adjust the reservation settings for your User Management role.
Once deactivated, the user will no longer be able to access Flexe. The user is also moved to the Inactive Users section on the User Management page.
Deleting & Removing Mobile Users
To deactivate mobile device users, select Mobile device users at the top of the User Management page. Then, find the mobile user you want to remove and select the Delete option.
Note: Once deleted, mobile users cannot be reactivated. You'll need to create the mobile user again, using the standard process. To learn more, go to Creating Mobile Users.
You can also remove mobile users from a warehouse without completely deactivating their user accounts. Go to the Warehouses section on the Mobile device users page. Then, find the user and select the Remove option.
Reactivating Users
You can reinstate a user's access as needed from the Inactive Users section. Find the user, then select the Re-activate User option.
