Summary
- Flexe's new Primary Pick logic can help warehouses prioritize picking from certain locations storing the same SKU.
- If enabled in your warehouse, users can establish Primary Pick locations to store and physically replenish the fastest-moving SKUs, or high-value locations near pack stations and optimize a pick sequence to create a customized pick path within the facility.
What’s Changing
- Users can now set up locations to be primary pick enabled
- If enough inventory exists, a primary pick location will be prioritized over other locations storing the same SKU when picking. This is useful for facilities using racked locations or floor storage locations meant to serve as “primary” and as “reserve.”
- Locations can be enabled for primary pick individually or via CSV Upload

4. Warehouse users can now assign a pick sequence to locations when importing locations via CSV Upload. A pick sequence allows the warehouse to customize the pick path

5. Primary Pick has been added as a filter in the locations page, allowing for immediate identification of locations that are true or false for Primary Pick
