| IN THIS TOPIC |
This guidance only applies if Put wall functionality has been enabled for your reservation. If you need more information about enabling this, reach out to your Flexe Logistics Analyst or contact us at support@flexe.com.
You can use the Pack feature on Flexe mobile devices to pack batches that have been sorted onto a cart.
Before you start
Before you start packing, make sure the picking and sorting processes for the batch are complete. To learn more about these processes, go to Put Wall.
Packing from a Put Wall
To pack from a put wall:
1. Select Pack from the mobile device home screen.
2. Scan the pack station.
3. Scan the put wall.
Scan the barcode for the put wall that was used to sort the batch.
3. Scan the cubby, then scan all SKU(s) in that cubby.
First, find the cubby shown at the top of the screen.
You'll then be prompted to scan each of the SKUs in that cubby. The SKU name/description and quantity show onscreen as you scan.
Note: The Items Packed section at the bottom of the screen automatically tracks your progress. Tap or swipe up review the full list of everything you've scanned.
4. Get the shipping box and scan the box barcode.
After scanning all SKUs in the cubby, select a box/carton for the shipment. Then, scan the box barcode.
Note: If you need to review packaging details, including box/carton dimensions, select the back arrow (in the top menu) once to return to the shipment details. Then, look for the PKG section at the top of the screen. Select Next in the Items Packed section to return to where you left off.
5. Wait for the shipping label to print, then scan the label and place it on the box.
After you scan the box barcode, the label for the shipment is automatically generated. This may take a few moments--a notification shows onscreen while the label is processing and printing.
Once the label is ready, scan it and place it on the shipment box/carton.
Note: If you need to reprint a label, open the menu (three vertical dots) at the top right of the screen and select the Reprint labels option.
After you scan the shipping label, check for the Shipment complete notification onscreen.
Your device then returns to the Scan a . . . screen (Step 2), so you can repeat this process as many times as needed, until all items in the batch are packed.
