LPN Inbounds
Where are the received LPNs ready for putaway located?
Every physical location in your warehouse has a corresponding location in Flexe according to the category type they are used for. If you do not have access to the Flexe platform, ask a supervisor to provide you with a list of goods in the Inbound Staging location. Below lists each of these categories:
- Inbound Staging
- Outbound Staging
- Floor Storage
- Rack Storage
- Bin Storage
- Quality Audit
- Pack Station
Each time an inbound dropoff is received into Flexe, the goods will automatically move into an Inbound Staging location. You will need to use a Flexe mobile device to move the goods (or putaway the goods) into a storage location in the warehouse upon receiving. This is required to have the product both being physically and systematically at that location.
Where do I find an Inbound Staging location in Flexe?
These locations can be easily found within Flexe. If you do not have access to the Flexe platform, ask a supervisor to provide you with a list of goods in the Inbound Staging location. Please follow these steps to see how to access them:
- On the left hand side under the Warehouse section, click on Locations.
- Filter by the Location Category.
- Select Inbound Staging. This will bring up all of your warehouse inbound staging locations.
- Each location will offer a dropdown selection of all LPN’s currently stored within that location, here you will see everything that needs to be moved.
LPN Moves
How do I put away an inbound LPN to storage?
In order to start moving LPN’s to a storage location, you will need to sign into the Flexe mobile device using your user name and pin number. LPN reservations will not be able to move loose cartons. Therefore, you will need to follow these steps using the Flexe mobile device to move the full pallet:
- On the homescreen, select Move Items.
- Scan the LPN that is to be moved to storage. You can scan multiple LPNs at this step if you are putting away multiple pallets.
- On the bottom right-hand side of the screen, select Put Away.
- Scan the destination storage location for each LPN. You can deposit LPNs at the same location or different ones.
- Scan the LPN barcode being moved to that location.
- Move complete.
